Donate to Benny's Act-of-Kindness Fund

On June 15, we will be remembering Benny and celebrating his homegoing. As a part of that celebration and keeping in line with Benny's giving spirit, we are are asking for donations to the Benny Kleczka "Act-of-Kindness" Scholarship fund, which we are establishing in Benny's honor. This will be a scholarship fund distributed to Shawnee Mission Christian School for the families of students in need and deserving of financial assistance to pay tuition. Benny would LOVE that we are doing this, as he always had a compassionate heart for those in need. Furthermore, Shawnee Mission Christian School is also a ministry that tries to help every family afford tuition, even though the school itself struggles financially. On June 15, 2023, our son Benny's life was taken by a drunk driver. Benny left behind his Mom and Dad, nine brothers and sisters, 17 nieces and nephews, his Grandma Kleczka and Grandma Hanson, and hundreds of friends. Benny was the ninth of ten children and the youngest of four boys. Benny was a 2022 Graduate of Shawnee Mission Christian School. After Benny graduated, he was in the process of starting his own web design business with the help of his older brothers. Benny was engaged to be married in April 2024.

Benny was the kindest and most positive-minded person you would ever meet. He cherished his family, loved his friends, and loved the Lord. Benny was kind to every person he met and was willing to help anyone who needed it. Benny was always happy and had an infectious smile that would brighten up any room he was in. Benny was a proud organ donor, and when Benny passed, his heart saved the life of a nine-year-old boy. His lungs, kidneys, liver, and tissues also went to recipients in need. So even in his death, Benny continued to give.
