Help Us Reunite Families: Support BLI Investigations' Pro-Bono Mission to Locate Missing Women and Children
Every day, families across the Gulf Coast – from Florida to Louisiana – face the heartbreaking reality of having a loved one go missing. For many, this nightmare is compounded by fear and uncertainty, especially for immigrant families who are too scared to seek help through traditional channels. At BLI Investigations, we are committed to making sure no one has to face this challenge alone.
We are in the process of launching a Pro-Bono Missing and Exploited Women and Children Non-Profit, and we need your help to bring this vital initiative to life.
The Problem:
There are currently over 600,000 missing persons in the United States, and the numbers continue to rise. Many of these cases involve vulnerable women and children who have fallen through the cracks of existing systems. We receive calls daily from families along the Gulf Coast—Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana—desperate to find their missing loved ones. Sadly, many of these families feel that law enforcement is not doing enough to locate their loved ones because of a lack of resources, or because their case has gone cold.
For immigrant families, the fear of deportation often stops them from reaching out to organizations like the National Missing and Exploited Children Service, which works closely with law enforcement. These families are scared to trust the system, fearing that their immigration status will lead to further harm.
Our Mission:
At BLI Investigations, we believe no family should ever feel helpless when it comes to finding their missing loved ones. We are dedicated to offering free investigations to both American citizens and immigrants who are desperately seeking to be reunited with their missing children or relatives. Our experienced investigators will work tirelessly to uncover the truth and bring families the closure they deserve.
How We Help:
We take on the cases that others won’t or can’t. Our goal is to find the missing persons who are stuck in the NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) system or who have disappeared due to exploitation or abuse. Many of the families who reach out to us simply ask to be reunited with their children, and we are determined to help them.
However, while we are committed to providing free services to these families, we cannot do this alone. We need resources to fund the tip lines, internet campaigns, investigative work, travel, and lodging required to follow up on leads and investigate cases. These essential expenses are necessary to help us take on more cases and reach families who are desperately searching for answers.
Why We Need Your Support:
The truth is, we can’t do this work for free without your help.
How the Funds Will Be Used:
We are seeking financial support to cover essential operational costs to effectively carry out our mission. Your generous contributions will be allocated to the following areas:
Traveling Expenses: A significant portion of the funds will go towards travel costs, including gas, lodging, and transportation fees, enabling us to meet with families and gather crucial information. This is a critical aspect of our work, as we often need to visit different locations to connect with individuals and communities.
Software and Databases for Skip Tracing: We will invest in specialized software and databases necessary for skip tracing. These tools allow us to track down missing individuals, connect people with resources, and gather vital data to aid in our cause.
Specialized Equipment: Certain tasks require specialized equipment, such as communication tools, surveillance devices, or tools for data collection. The funds will ensure that we have the necessary equipment to perform these tasks efficiently.
Hourly Salaries for Employees: To maintain operations, we need to pay our dedicated staff for their hourly work. These employees play a vital role in managing day-to-day activities, conducting research, and offering support to families and individuals in need.
Telephone Tip Lines: Part of the funds will be used to maintain and advertise our tip lines, where people can call in with valuable information. This service helps us to gather community tips, which are often critical to our work.
Advertising and Outreach: We will use funds to advertise and raise awareness about our efforts, including digital and print marketing campaigns. This helps us engage a broader audience, inform the public, and generate more leads.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ongoing vehicle maintenance is essential for transporting our team and equipment. Funds will cover the costs of repairs, fuel, and regular upkeep to ensure our transportation remains reliable for the tasks ahead.
Miscellaneous Expenses: Funds may also be allocated to unforeseen operational needs that arise, such as office supplies, utilities, or other resources that ensure smooth and effective operations.
In summary, the funds will directly support the infrastructure and resources necessary to carry out our mission effectively and to serve those in need with the highest level of professionalism and care. Your support will make a tangible difference, and we are deeply grateful for your contribution.
Once our 501(c)(3) paperwork is completed, all donations made to BLI Investigations will be fully tax-deductible. This means that your generosity will not only help bring missing persons home but also provide you with the opportunity to receive a tax write-off for your contribution.
Additionally, once our nonprofit status is finalized, we will be doing other things to raise funds for our ongoing efforts. We’ll make sure to keep our page updated regularly with progress, new events, and ways you can get involved in our mission to locate missing women and children.
Please consider donating today to help us in our mission to locate missing persons and give families the closure they so desperately need. Together, we can make a real impact.
Thank you for your support and for helping us bring missing loved ones home.
