Nancy's Journey

Blessings to all. My name is Brittany, and it is with a heavy heart and a lot of faith in God that I have started this GoFundMe for the most amazing, loving, caring, and selfless person, my mom.

Back in January of 2024, my siblings and I received a phone call that no child wants to get from their mother, and that was that she had been in an accident while working as an Amazon delivery driver. She was T-boned while driving across a busy street in Brighton, CO. She has undergone multiple therapy sessions, doctor's visits, and a surgery for her arm. It was about four months into her treatment for her accident that the doctors noticed an abnormality under her right armpit and right breast in one of her CT scans. She was then sent to see her primary care doctor, who then sent her for a mammogram and a biopsy, and that is when we got the news nobody wants to hear. We were told that the tests and biopsy revealed that she was positive for stage 2-3 breast cancer. Since then, she has undergone more biopsies, CT scans, and has recently had a double mastectomy surgery, and both breasts were removed along with several lymph nodes from her right armpit. She still has a long road of recovery from this surgery, and the next step is both chemo and radiation therapy. She is also very stressed about her finances. It is a hard process, but with our faith in God and God by our side, she will come out stronger than ever.
