My name is Cindy and I am starting this fundraiser to help my brother, Bryan Daffin (aka Daff). Bryan was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2021. This cost him his career as a firefighter at Wallops.

In May of 2024, he was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. He had his first round of chemo in June, the week after he began radiation. He had his fourth radiation on July 2nd. The following day, he woke up sick and with a temperature. On July fourth, he had a high temperature and after being in the Emergency Room, he was admitted to ICU. He was diagnosed with a bad bacterial infection and was given high doses of antibiotics.

By the Grace of God, he was able to fight off the infection.

On Monday the 8th, he was moved to a regular room and has been receiving his radiation treatments each day.

On Monday or Tuesday of next week, he will be moved to Encompass Health in Salisbury, MD for intense physical therapy.

He is accumulating so many out-of-pocket medical expenses and if you are able to help in any way, the family would appreciate it. Please keep him in your prayers.
