UPDATE: As of Aug 5, 2024 Cam is out of surgery and is in a room. They just took blood to see where his levels are. He will be getting chemo today but they have not put all the orders in yet to create the cocktail. Doctor has not come in to talk to us about it because they are moving fast in getting this going for him.

Yesterday, I had the chance to celebrate you our father with my families. Anh and Charlene invited us to church with them and we got to see Camden before his surgery Today Monday 5, 2024. Thank you lord for guiding the doctors hands and providing us these caregivers that will be taking care of our young man! The strength and amount of support that stands with Cam is a force that is undeniable. Everything that we have is yours and you created it for us. I don't think I could ever try to understand why things happen the way they happen but I trust and believe in you! Shouting out to you! Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah

Hello, my name is Sounida Wilcher. I come to share a story with you all about this wonderful young man named Camden Thepsimuong. I am his aunt. When my younger brother (Anouxa) and his wife (Charlene) had him 16 years ago, I already knew I would love him for the rest of my life. Camden was wild and smart as a baby, and I knew he was going to be and do amazing things. He is the older brother of Liam and Kai, and they look up to him. He was active in many clubs, sports, and was in a dance group. Camden is also an active member of his church; he brings joy and happiness to all people who he comes in contact with.

Now comes the hardest part for me to tell you all. Three weeks ago, Camden's parents informed us that he has a serious illness, but they are still doing tests and can't confirm anything. Fast forward three weeks, it seems he has a form of bone cancer stage 4 but still need to do more tests to confirm what kind of variant it is to proceed with the right treatment. My brother and his family live in VA and the treatment center is in North Carolina. Driving costs, meals on the go, bills, and other expenses are just some of the monetary obstacles they shouldn't have to be concerned with. If anyone would like to donate to help my family (Anouxa and Charlene family) in their time of need and pray for healing for Camden and for his parents to remain strong. His story has not end, so there will be more information and we will continue to add a on this journey to recovery.

So, I will add my part, as an aunt I have watched this young man grow from afar. I am so grateful that his mom has posted every mile marker of his life. I love to watch him grow from dancing in several Quinceaneras to celebrate the birthday girls and playing sports which he had such a huge talent, being a role model to his younger brothers and an amazing son. Several months ago, he joined the workforce by getting his first job at Chick-Fil-A and all I can think is wow he has such responsibility. Thinking about this situation brings tears to my eyes. Seeing my nephew going through such an ordeal has made my heart ache so much. I cannot talk about it without crying and praying for God to just heal him. I want to do more. I ask of you all to pray if you can give something then please do and of course Share Cam's Purpose. Let his parents have peace of mind to not have to worry about money while they go through this tough time in their life.

I know most people who come to you only come to ask for a favor. I am one of those people today. I wish I could just come to you to tell you what an amazing God you are, and I am grateful for everything you have given me. But today I come to beg you to heal my nephew, Camden, give him the strength he will need for his treatments, give him love in his heart knowing there are so many people wanting and will be waiting for him to get better. Give his parents the soothing touch from you to ease their mind and heart, give them the strength to overcome every obstacle that may be in their way. Please lord, hear my cry for help.
