Chris Hernandez was an amazing man, and all who knew him considered themselves fortunate. He was exceptionally caring, generous, and fun-loving. Chris had three beautiful children who were the center of his world. After serving in the Navy, he continued to serve his community in various ways, including with the local fire departments.

Unfortunately, Chris was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer last year and had been courageously battling the disease. Recently, his condition deteriorated, and he was placed under hospice care. As a single parent, Chris was raising his three children, ages 15 to 5, on his own.
