Donate to Christina who lost both parents

Our sweet friend Christina, with whom we shared the joy of playing collegiate field hockey at Nazareth, has endured profound loss within the span of two years. First, she tragically lost her mother during our senior year in 2021, and now, on March 17 of this year, she has faced the heartbreaking passing of her father after an aggressive battle with stage 3 cancer.

Despite these immense challenges, Christina has shown remarkable strength and perseverance, successfully graduating with a bachelor's degree in marketing in 2021. As an only child, Christina has spent the last 23 years growing up with both parents in their family home in Fairport. She has shown unwavering resilience in the face of adversity, and our hearts go out to her during this incredibly difficult time.

With this loss comes several (many unexpected) financial challenges and we are looking to help ease this burden while she grieves and heals. This couldn’t have happened at a worse time as her company was cutting back on staff and she was unfortunately let go right before the passing of her father.

In the wake of this loss, Christina is facing challenges with ongoing expenses such as funeral costs, mortgage, bills, and other financial obligations.
