From recently losing her job from a company buy out to getting Hemiretinal Vein Occlusion, my mother, Claudia Reyes, has been through it all. She's a kind woman who does anything for her family to pure strangers. She's a kind soul who loves to tend to her garden and cook the most amazing foods.

Hemiretinal vein occlusion occurs when a vein that drains the superior or inferior hemiretina (often the superior or inferior branch of the central retinal vein) is blocked. This can often lead to permanent vision loss, glaucoma, and even losing an eye if untreated. This money will go to her medical expenses from treatments to the medication. Insurance covers $12,500, but we're still looking for a way to cover the rest which is $7,500.
