Hello, my name is Cleopatra Lee Romer. I have been living with diabetes since I was 8 years old. It's been a lot of ups & downs dealing with it. In 2020, when COVID was around, my kidneys were beginning to fail because of it. I went into renal failure in 2021, the same year I lost and buried my mother. Now that I am on dialysis, I just look at my life as though it was my birthday every day. I am currently on the kidney & pancreas transplant list, patiently waiting for my day to come, as we all have a day for something in our lives to happen.

Sometimes I go without my medical supplies because it's tough to pay out of pocket when you're a single mother & you have to put your children first. I just want to live my life to see my children at least finish school and know that I made it with them all the way. Just needing some help right now, at least for the rest of this year, would be gladly appreciated.
