Donate to Dana Morris-Sheets and her living donor!

My mom, Dana Morris-Sheets, is fighting for her life!
***UPDATE***UPDATE***UPDATE***
My mom was finally healthy enough to have her TIPS surgery which was a couple of weeks ago. She spent 12 days in the hospital following this procedure, but she should have only been there for 2. Following the procedure she experienced life threatening complications. We had high hopes when she went in for the TIPS procedure that she may no longer need a living donor because her liver was slowly regenerating. That was not the case do to an infection she got which caused her to lose part of her liver.
My mom is the strongest woman I know and despite everything she hasn't given up hope and my family and I haven't either!!!
She does have a couple living donors still working through the process but we'd like to have more options in case those donors aren't good matches. If you would be interested in donating please go to this website and submit the paperwork. If I could donate to my mom I would have already been tested, but unfortunately I'm still too young.

Please feel free to call, text, or send a private message on Facebook to my mom or me with any questions you are sure to have.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR BEING SO GENEROUS WITH YOUR DONATIONS AND PLEASE KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING!!!
I know some of you know my mom’s story but for those who don’t my mom received a late diagnosis of hemochromatosis. This genetic disease has affected her liver and now she needs a liver transplant. She has weekly trips to have a paracentesis done to drain fluid buildup in her abdomen and she will also be going in late this week for a TIPS procedure to help with this fluid buildup. She has had multiple stays in the hospital in recent months, but has been following doctors’ orders and has actually gotten stronger which has allowed her to be a viable candidate for a living donor. My mom has a couple strong leads for an 0+ living donor and they are working as quickly as they can through the process.
If you or someone you know may be interested in the living donor process please contact me or my mom for additional information.
I’m reaching out to family and friends and I’m asking for your support!!!
I need your help to ease the stress and worry my mom and Todd face daily but the most important part, of this scary reality, is to help the individual who saves my mom. There are so many unknown and even unexpected expenses in the upcoming months and I’d like to help the donor and my mom as much as I can. Some costs associated with the process may include testing, travel, and overnight stays not to mention the cost associated with medical expenses not covered by insurance. All donations will be put to good use and if all goes well and as planned any remaining funds will be donated to the American Liver Foundation. I will never be able to truly express my gratitude to everyone but I do thank you all for your love and support during this difficult time.
