Donate to Dan's Medical & Caregiving Expenses

Beginning in 2021 Dan Alsheskie started showing signs of memory loss. Eventually he was diagnosed with Early-onset Dementia and his symptoms progressed to the point where in 2022 he took a medical retirement at the young age of 58.
Dan was a member of the Michigan CAT team working with customers for 22 years in the Corporate Parts Call Center. It is there that Dan met his wife Carrie who is the Inventory Control Manager for Corporate Parts. Since Dan’s retirement, Carrie has taken full responsibility for Dan’s care while continuing to balance her responsibilities at home and on the job.
As his health continues to decline, Dan now requires 24-hour care and can no longer be left alone. A part-time caregiver has been brought in to help care for Dan but even a few hours a week is several thousand dollars a month and is not covered by insurance.
For anyone who has a friend or loved one suffering with Alzheimer’s/Dementia you know the struggle for Dan and Carrie is continual and will only become more difficult. We have set up this GoFundMe to help with the mounting medical costs and ongoing caregiving needed. Please consider coming alongside Dan and Carrie as this terrible disease continues to progress, taking with it their dreams of what growing old together should look like.
If you can help financially, please donate here on the GoFundMe page. All proceeds go directly to care for Dan.
Any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated. Your support means so much, Thank you!
