Hi… My name is Diamond Norman-Harvey and this comes long overdue that I reach out to friends, family, associates… even strangers to be a blessing and seek assistance after my family’s life changed forever. As most of you know, my husband was tragically murdered in April of 2022 when I was pregnant with our third child. Since then, our lives have not been the same. It has been extremely difficult to manage financially as he was the sole provider for our family and always took care of home. 14 years and he never missed a beat. I’ve now had to seek job after job and learn how to balance as a single mom of 2 school-aged children and a toddler, which hasn’t been easy at all.

On Wednesday, September 11, during a quick grocery store trip while planning our son’s 8th birthday, I was involved in a terrible accident that left my body motionless. A totaled car and several broken bones later, I have been away from my children for longer than I have ever been in my life. I’ve been transferred from hospital to hospital, had pelvic surgery, and am now on the road to recovery for at least 6 to 8 weeks. It is only a miracle that I am still here. As the last and only surviving parent, I am left without support for the most basic necessities and finances to care for myself and my children while I recover from surgery and continue to navigate through life without my deceased husband.
