Donate to Ease Clem and Debbie's Burden

Donation protected
As most of you know my now my uncle Clem Maust has been in the hospital for 20 days. He is the sole provider for him and his wife. My aunt Debbie Maust! The unimaginable happen 20 days ago when they where going to Minnesota for a family reunion, something that was supposed to happy and exciting turned into a nightmare. Debbie is emotionally exhausted, tired, scared and trying to remain strong for Clem. The last thing I want her to worry about is money right now. There future is unknown and obstacles they will be facing are unknown. Debbie has a strong belief in our lord and knows he has a plan. Please consider donating to help Debbie sleep a little better at night. They are currently in Minnesota at St. Cloud hospital away from family and their home. Below is current timeline of events.
June 20th - lung collapsed & had tube inserted.
June 21- Surgery to have talc to seal
22- had to have a 2nd tube inserted.
Tests show he had multiple blerp.24th and can't keep his lung inflated.
25th- Clem Maust UPDATE:
The doctors called me to go up to the hospital early this morning.
Clem is having terrible lung and muscle spasms, which is very normal with the back to back surgeries.
His breathing hasn't improved, and his lungs are nowhere close for the doctors to be able to expand his lungs to more lung capacity.
He has 2 drain tubes in now and still on level 4 oxygen.
His fever has dropped some, and that is a very good sign.
26th-
Clem Maust's condition has remained unchanged since yesterday.
His right lung is still leaking, causing difficulty breathing, particularly when he moves or speaks.
Despite this, his spirits have improved slightly.
Doctors are still prohibiting visitors to allow him to rest and recover. The next step in treating his lungs can not be taken until Clem's health improves, as his body will not be able to handle it at this time.
June 30th-
setback today, his heart rate won't stay below 140.
They are doing an EKG every 2 hours
He's back on level 4 and 100% oxygen and back on an IV for hydration.
He now has kidney stones, which he's dealing with the pain of those too.
They are sedating him this afternoon to give his lungs and heart some rest.
UPDATE ON CLEM:
Delayed response due to multiple pressing matters and all the ups and downs.
*Wednesday, July 3rd, there were mixed developments. While he was experiencing little pain and he was removed from oxygen, the hole in his lung enlarged and is leaking worse than before. However, it is only leaking during exhalation, not inhalation, which is a positive sign. He needs to expand his lung capacity without triggering coughing. He must focus on deep breathing exercises.
*Thursday, July 4th, no changes.
He had a pleasant day and was grateful for the visitors who came to see him at the hospital.
Special thanks to Tyra Palmer for the generous care package.
** Friday, July 5th, his spirits were low, and he felt weak, with the lung leak ongoing.
Despite this, we have been extremely impressed by the high-quality care and compassion demonstrated by his medical team. Both his primary physician and pulmonary specialist from Rochester.
July 8th-
Clem had a big setback.
His lower right lung opened.
Due to the complexity of Clem's condition, he has been transferred to St. Cloud hospital to undergo a more extensive surgery that is beyond the capabilities of Brainerd hospital.
Today is day 18 in the hospital.
He's very weak and mentally and physically exhausted.

Clem will be going to have another surgery tomorrow 7/11 at 6 am
