Donate to Hank Potts' Medical expenses

This fundraiser is setup to help offset medical costs that have incurred to the family due to Hanks medical expenses. As you all know Hank and his bride Lori, took a leap of faith and retired from their jobs in Colorado, and moved across the county to enjoy their retirement in Cooper Maine, about 4 hours from their daughter Marie and her husband Marc. Shortly after the big move, Hank started to experience a stomach bug that wouldn't go away. A week later his entire digestive system shut down, and many tests later, they had found he had stage 4 liver cancer, that had spread to his adrenal glands. Hank did 5 months of immunotherapy for the cancer, only for it to not be effective and the cancer had spread.
Chemotherapy was next on the list, and they are hopeful with the next CT scan coming up this next month, that it hasn't spread any more. With all of treatments that Hank has endured, he now has extremely low blood pressure that causes ortho-static hypertension A-Fib, along with thyroid issues. As Lori would typically say "he's hot mess".
In order for Hank to be close to his medical team, Lori quickly packed up the dogs, cats, and some clothes to move south and stay with Marc and Marie, never to see their Cooper house again. Marc and Marie spent several weekends packing up the original house to put in storage. Lori and Hank have since purchased a house much closer in Oakland, and have settled in.
While we know that the prognosis is not promising, they are trying to remain positive as best they can, and saying lots of prayers. Thru all of this, Hank has found his faith in God, prays the rosary with Lori, and has become Catholic.
This cancer diagnosis was definitely not in their retirement plan, they had plans of enjoying time with each other and exploring their new state, so this has been very difficult to comprehend. Those of you that know Lori and Hank, know that they would give the shirt off their back to help anyone in need, and now they are needing our help. First and foremost, prayers are what is needed the most, so please take a moment each day and say a prayer for this wonderful family. If you feel it in your heart, please donate to help ease some of the stress, due to the mountains of medical bills.
