Pops and Mimi’s Medical burden

John Stewart, my dad, my precious babies' Pops, was just admitted to the hospital(02/07/25)with several 2-8cm tumors on his liver and a tumor(s) in his colon.

Right now, we don't know exactly what we are dealing with. He will have a colonoscopy Sunday to do a biopsy and check out the tumor.

If you know my dad, you know he’d give the shirt off his back to help anyone out. His grandkids are his world. Our family has been through so much the last 8 years. My mom was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016, stage 3. She has had several recurrences.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2022. I thank the good Lord I am now two years in remission. My parents were by my side whenever we needed them. While going through chemo, my dad and mom would alternate weeks I had chemo and drive after working a full day from Dallas to Houston late at night to be there to help watch the kiddos the following morning so my husband could take me and be with me during chemo. We desperately just need a break and for Pops to get better from this.

My mom had a knee replacement in November and just went back to work yesterday. Then my dad ended up in the hospital the following day.

My mom is one of the strongest people I know and if I can help in anyway I am going to give it my all. Trying to lessen the financial burden for my parents as the next steps are unknown would be a huge blessing.
