I hope you’re doing well. My name is Charli. Business manager for Eastbay Warriors 13u football team. I’m reaching out on behalf of the team to request your support as we prepare for the 2024 Pop Warner Championship

Tournament in Florida this December. This is a unique opportunity for our young athletes, but it comes with significant costs—between $2,200 to $2,500 per player.

Since our founding in 1998, the East Bay Warriors have been dedicated to promoting sportsmanship, academic responsibility, self-esteem, and teamwork. We aim to help our players develop not only as athletes but also as responsible individuals ready to contribute positively to society. Our players are incredibly committed, practicing six hours each week to hone their skills. They are also learning valuable life skills such as communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. The discipline they gain from football aids their understanding of STEM concepts like trajectory and angles.

Most of our players are from Oakland,CA, a city rich in sports culture but facing challenges such as crime and rising costs. Despite these difficulties, the East Bay Warriors provide hope, joy, and a sense of community for our athletes and their families.

Our coaches serve as mentors, guiding our players in both academics and athletics, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high academic standards. Many of our athletes will transition to high school after this season, and it would be remarkable for them to conclude their time with us as champions.

We kindly ask you to consider making a financial contribution to help cover our trip costs. If your employer has a matching program, your donation could have an even greater impact. Your support will provide these boys with not just the chance to compete but also lifelong memories and lessons.
