Hi, my name is Kathy. My brother, Ed recently ended up in the hospital with some serious medical conditions. He had a pericardial effusion and a pulmonary embolism, as well as a viral infection that they have yet to identify. He was in the critical care unit for almost two weeks and so far has lost over 3 weeks of work. In addition to his lost income, he has accumulated an exorbitant amount of medical bills.
