Donate to emergency relief in Sudan with Hadhreen
Donation protected
We are fundraising for the humanitarian crisis in Sudan with screenings of the new Sudanese film Goodbye Julia. Join Black Cinema Project at South London Gallery on Wed to support the essential grassroots work by non-profit organisation Hadhreen to feed and care for the people in Sudan caught in the horrific circumstances of the war.
My name is Duncan Carson, a film curator and in collaboration with The People's Film Club we are fundraising to the relief effort in Sudan. We are London-based organisations that are seeking to encourage donations to the relief effort on the ground in Sudan, delivered by Hadreen , a non-profit recognised in Sudan. The money will support Hadreen's efforts in Sudan, which focus on:
- Support for care homes in Khartoum State (cash/food supplies/medicines and daily consumables).
- Direct support to affected families in Khartoum State (cash/food supplies).
- Direct support to Sudanese refugees in camps at Adre in Chad (food supplies).
- Supporting the central kitchens initiative in the neighbourhoods of Khartoum State (food supplies).
We are fundraising on behalf of Hadreen with this screening and also soliticiting donations via GoFundMe for anyone unable to attend. All monies will pass to Hadreen. The funds will be delivered by bank transfer following the screening.
