Testimony time‼️  you see a man that has lost it all, has fought all of the hard battles in life that you could imagine. A life that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Growing up with drug dealers in my family as people I looked up to, not having a father figure, to figuring out how to raise myself from the time I was 14. I’ve done every drug under the sun, from smoking weed at 9 years old, to smoking, making, and selling meth at 14. Losing my mom at 19, catching felonies, robbery charge, drug charges and more.. that is but a stepping stone in my life. Until I found God, who brought me out of the pits of hell that I placed myself in, he redeemed me and brought me into his glorious light. After I found God I was in a program that saved my life called Outreach Ministries of Alabama . While there I found my calling, which is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. After a 15 month stay at OMA, I came down to Atmore to another program that holds a special place in my heart that I am now the program manager over called Ryan's Hope. This program gave me the foundation I needed to re enter society and live my new life out. Once here I did everything I could to better my life, while God just continued to open up doors for me. I received my GED, I got my very first drivers license, a few weeks later I got a car. My first legal car. I have received 2 management job offers that I turned down because I felt God has called me in a different direction where both of them would have taken me. I have Gotten a taste of preaching the Word and helping people find Faith in the savior. I went to a banquet for a missions trip to Africa in November or December of last year, I felt God lay it on my heart to take a step of faith and try to get my passport. Well I did, I was approved and I have done my step of faith to go. But now I have to take another step of faith, and I am believing God will provide for me. I have to raise $1900 in order to go, but the Bible says faith without works is dead. I am looking for side work, sponsors, or donations in order for me to do what God has laid on my heart to do. As I continue to walk into my calling, I am learning many things about what it takes to walk by faith and not by sight.
