My name is Carl Blake. My neighbor is Bill Clevenger and I’m trying to help Bill get himself back up and running. See, Bill was a foster child and hit foster mother passed away. He didn’t know what a $5.00 bill was worth. He was left to fend for himself and was never taught how to. For the last ten years I’ve done my best to help Bill survive.

He is one of the hardest working men I know in Eldon. He is constantly helping people or he is mowing yards and hustling everyday trying to make a dollar to survive.

Even Bills landlord and city of Eldon won’t help him. Last year he went from March until August with no hotwater. Rain coming in the roof. The landlord gets paid religiously from Bills SSi check. Never missed a payment but land lord still treats him poorly.

He hustles everyday and if you asked him for the shirt off his back and it was his last one he would gladly give it to you.

Some 8 years ago I asked the internet to help with a dog. Bills dog died and he was so upset. But the net came together and he got the most wonderful little dog and she is still with him. The testament to a truly God given event.

Im here today because Bills only method of making money was his lawn mower. It wasn’t a commercial. So it just couldn’t stand up to the constant daily use. I have a shop next door to Bill, I kept his lawnmower blades sharp and changed his oil as needed and tuned it as needed. It lasted three years and finally blew up a couple weeks ago. No Bill can’t do any of his lawns. I don’t have enough money to buy him one or I would just do it.

So I decided to try and see if we could get. The support like we did with the dog.

i felt that getting a new mower with warranty would get Bill down the road a lot further and not have to worry about anything for a couple years. I went to a local shop and got Sam’s Corner Shop to give us a discount on a mower and weed whacker. Bill always uses my weed whacker. But he needs his own.

Sams is very reputable and he is local so if any major issue and parts needed Sam has them or can get them.

But this lawnmower would allow Bill to do more lawns much more quickly. And he can weed eat very quickly.

Bill takes excellent care of his equipment. Every night Bill would wash and dry his lawn mower before putting it away. He fixes anything the lay goes wrong right away. It’s not just a toy to him it’s how he makes money for food and groceries.

If you could part with $5.00 or $10.00 or more that will really actually be used for a good cause you can see this is one of them.

All money goes to Bill. Fees come out of it. I get nothing I just want to get Bill back up and going. He is depressed because he gets a mower and they only last a year or two then he has to get a new one. This mower is a commercial duty one. It will last him years.
