Donate to Equip DR for Upcoming Disasters

Over the years many of you have followed the Washington/Osage Baptist Disaster Relief ministry and have given the greatest gifts of all with your prayers and words of encouragement. God has heard your prayers and with the DR teams physical work, He has opened so many doors into homes and lives suffering through storm damage, both through spiritual and physical struggles.

This year has been extremely busy for the DR crew members. Multiple local storms have been challenging over the past three months. While DR members have recovered, the equipment has suffered. Repair costs to vehicles and tools have been stretched. The Blue Cap leaders believe God is leading DR to upgrade the two vehicles used in the ministry.

DR has not asked for financial support since the early days of the ministry. Over the years God has blessed the ministry through generous gifts and through the support of the Association. However, now is the time to pray about supporting DR financially as God's direction is being sought regarding the trucks and equipment.

As always, please continue to pray for Disaster Relief. There is potential for severe weather in the near future. The Disaster Relief team wants to be prepared to answer the call to possible devastation caused by hurricanes and tornados.
