Donate to Ethan's Life-Saving Transplant Fund
Donation protected
I have a friend that is in an unthinkable situation. Becca is a mother of 2 wonderful children, a 4-year-old little girl, Bella, and a 12-year-old son, Ethan.
Ethan is a 7th grader at Wapakoneta Middle School. Ethan was unfortunately born with a hole in his heart. At the age of 22 months old, he had his first open-heart surgery to repair this defect. Later, Ethan was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. Ethan is a tough young boy who has been on medication to treat this condition most of his life. This required him to wear a pump 24/7 for the administration of this medication. Ethan has been followed closely by a team at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. As he has grown, his condition has gotten progressively worse.
Ethan was admitted to the hospital on 10/07/2024 and had another open-heart surgery. At this time, Ethan is in need of a double lung transplant. He will remain inpatient until he receives this life-saving surgery. This will require his family to travel back and forth from Wapakoneta/Lima to Columbus. While health insurance is a blessing to help cover medical expenses, all other expenses related to this situation are not covered. Extended stays in Columbus, lost wages, gas, food, and parking, just to name a few. Please consider a donation, no matter how small, to assist this family in their time of crisis. Prayers are welcome and encouraged.
