Donate to evacuate Eyad family from Gaza

In the heart of Gaza, our once joy-filled home now lies shattered, a casualty to the unyielding winds of change. I am Eyad, and it has taken me some time to gather my thoughts and courage to write this, but the urgency to save my family is stronger than any hesitation. I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea, desperately seeking your generous support to help us evacuate - my wife, two daughters, one son, and myself - from the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Surviving more than six aggressions and many escalations, my family confronts numerous challenges: • Son (Khaled - 8 years): He suffers from complications after brain tumor (Biolistic Astrocytoma on the crossing of the optic nerve) removal surgery when he was 2.5 years old. Khaled has a brain stroke that affected movement on his left side, requiring continuous physiotherapy, which is currently unavailable in Gaza. Additionally, he suffers from a deficit in basic hormones of the pituitary gland, taking compensatory doses of hormones daily. Unfortunately, these drugs are difficult to avail currently. The tumor has also significantly affected his vision, rendering him visually impaired. Khaled has a passion for horse riding and dreams of becoming a successful lawyer, but the current situation has traumatized him, turning his life into a nightmare. • Daughter (Malak - 15 years): My youngest daughter she loves life ,she has many hoppies and dreams ,she plys orintal music on oud , she olso dreams of a future in the world of horse riding as well. However, she is now haunted by trauma, having lost three of her best friends and their families during this aggression. Her daily struggle to sleep reflects the profound impact of witnessing traumatic incidents and hearing the sounds of bombs. • Daughter (Zaina - 16 years): My eldest daughter, once a musician who played the Qanoon, is now struggling with depression. The Edward Said Institute for Music, where she was a student, was destroyed along with her instrument during the bombing of our home. She expresses the pain of losing memories and dreams, questioning how a human can live without dreams. • Wife (Mariam - 43 years): Mariam, who used to work as an accountant to support our family, currently her dream is just to keep our children safe. • Me (Eyad - 47 years): I was a successful lawyer, but my office and car were destroyed. now faces an exacerbated struggle for the future to complete due depletion of essentials of life for our children. Since October, our lives took a devastating turn when we were told on October 19 to leave our homes in Gaza suddenly at night. A few hours after we left, our home and the whole neighborhood were completely taken and wiped away. Those moments were heartbreaking, and we lost everything. We didn't have time to collect our clothes, luggage, photos, or memories. Unfortunately, this was just the start of a tough journey. As the situation escalated, we had to evacuate several times from one uncertain place to another. We have been displaced over seven times, facing horrible situations, fears, tears, and bombs everywhere - from Gaza to the middle area to Rafah, and now we are again in the middle area. Each evacuation exposes us to the harsh reality that the next bombing might be the one we don't survive. Our fundraising goal is $25,000 and every donation, regardless of size, will make a significant difference in alleviating our suffering. Please consider sharing our campaign widely with your family and friends to help us reach our goal as swiftly as possible, as every moment in Gaza poses a threat to our lives. Thank you for standing with us in solidarity and making a positive impact on our lives. Your support is our lifeline, and we are forever grateful.
