Donation protected
Dear Friends, Dancers & Community Supporters -

We are delighted to invite you & your families to our annual free party in the park! Join us on Sunday August 4th, 2024, as Uniting Souls, Flammable, Viva, and YoYoYoga team up to present Forest For The Trees 7 - a daytime gathering starting at noon with a one-hour yoga session in the grassy meadow, followed by djs & dancing until 9pm. This event will be held at the beautiful Myrtle Edwards Park, right next to the Puget Sound, next to Olympic Sculpture Park and the downtown waterfront.

We are accepting donations to help cover the costs of putting on this event. Any amount which you may be able to donate will help, even small amounts. 100% of funds raised will go towards event expenses, including park permits, port-o-potty rentals, sound system rentals, generator & other equipment rental. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to dancing in the sun with you all!

Hosting Forest For the Trees in such an amazing space is a privilege that comes with personal responsibility. Please help support our event on our GoFundMe page so we can continue to keep the day free, all ages, and ADA accessible. As a community, we rely on one another to abide by the Seattle Parks Rules and Regulations. We're highlighting a few guidelines in Seattle Parks, and therefore also at Forest For the Trees:
◆ No Littering - please plan to take your trash with you
◆ No fire or lit fire toys
◆ No Unleashed Dogs or other pets; owners clean up your pet's waste
◆ No Sale of merchandise
◆ No Abusive or harassing behavior. Consent is required when interacting with others. A person’s choice of self-expression is not an invitation for non-consensual touching. Any form of harassment including leering, rude comments, or touching will not be tolerated.
Remember: We don't choose (or make) the rules, we choose to respect them!
Forest For The Trees is a free, family-friendly event, so please feel free to invite the family (children are welcome with parental supervision; we highly recommend ear protection for the little ones) ❤
