Since 2007- through donations and fundraisers- our PAW program has provided more than 10,000 spay-neuter surgeries for local low-income pet guardians. These folks had no other way to pay for these surgeries, in New Mexico, the state with the *HIGHEST RATE OF PET ABANDONMENT in America.

In 2023, we provided more than 200 surgeries- but for the first time since 2007, we've havd to temporarily suspend registrations, due to lack of adequate funding. A minimum of $20,000 is needed now to resume spay-neuter surgeries, to STOP the births of hundreds of unwanted litters IMMEDIATELY.
