Veterans suicide awarness climb to Mt. Kilimanjaro to
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
As a disabled veteran, I’ve faced battles far beyond the battlefield—battles within myself. After leaving the military, I was diagnosed with PTSD and turned to alcohol to numb my pain. I spiraled into isolation, lost connection with my loved ones, and even found myself without a home. I was broken, both inside and out, and the future seemed bleak.
But something inside me refused to give up. Through meditation, therapy, and fitness, I began to confront my PTSD and alcoholism head-on. It wasn’t an easy journey, but I realized that I didn’t want to change because I hated who I was; I wanted to change because I loved myself and believed in a brighter future. Slowly but surely, I found my way back to life.
Now, I’m on a mission to show other veterans that there is hope, that change is possible, and that they are not alone. I’ve set my sights on climbing Mount Kilimanjaro—a monumental challenge that represents overcoming the seemingly insurmountable. This climb is not just for me; it’s for every veteran struggling in silence, every individual who feels lost in their pain.
By reaching the summit, I aim to raise awareness about PTSD, addiction, and the resources available to those in need. I want to inspire others to seek help and to show them that with hard work, self-love, and determination, they too can overcome their struggles.
But I can’t do this alone. I’m reaching out to you to help make this dream a reality. Your donations will go toward funding this journey, including travel, gear, and training expenses. Every dollar you contribute will not only help me climb Kilimanjaro but will also amplify this message of hope and resilience.
Together, we can make a difference. We can show veterans that they are not forgotten, that their struggles are understood, and that there is a way forward.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for supporting me as I take this step toward a higher purpose. Let’s climb this mountain together—for those who need to see that it’s possible.
With gratitude and hope,
