Give Ruben a chance

Ruben, our very first “foster fail,” and the cat who has inspired me in saving of hundreds of lives, is now in need of saving himself. It is incredibly hard for me to ask for help for my personal cat, but Ruben is currently hospitalized and his care is incredibly expensive. The most urgent problem he is facing is anemia and sudden weight loss. He is going to need a blood transfusion and supportive care tonight and will be having an ultrasound performed tomorrow, along with other diagnostics, to determine what is causing his recent health problems. He is only 6.5 years old and could have years and years still ahead of him. I do not ask for help lightly. We have already spent $2,000 and had to put down a deposit for $9,200 tonight to get him through the next few days and his diagnostics.
