Donate to Gunner's Fight Against CKD
Donation protected
From the time Gunner was born he has been giving everyone a lesson in what it means to fight in the face of adversity
Gunner Bradley Rider was born 12/12/19 with Joubert Syndrome. He is nonverbal, non-mobile, and was recently diagnosed with end-stage CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) in November 2023. Here we are almost one year and 16 hospital stays later and we finally have the opportunity to have a new kidney.
Gunner will be going through his kidney transplant surgery on 10/23/24 and will remain inpatient for a few weeks to come for close monitoring of the donor kidney’s response. Gunner’s mother and father both desire to be there with him and in order for at least one to be there, the family’s financial well-being will take a serious hit. The entire post-op process, which requires being in close proximity to the hospital at all times, will last 1-2 months. This family is not the handout or begging type but we want to help them and show them that we can step up and help. Some folks struggle losing a day at work. Can you imagine 2 months?! We as parents will do anything for our kids. The Rider family lives for their children. Let’s make sure they don’t have to choose work and making money over being there for Gunner during the journey ahead.
All donations to help this family are very much appreciated.
