Hey everyone, this is Gustavo Huato. As you may know, last year I got a hip replacement but only for my right side. I was told by the doctors that replacing the right side only would be enough and I wouldn’t need a full hip replacement. Unfortunately, as I recovered from the intense surgery and regained mobility, I injured my left hip bone. I was overcompensating for pain from the surgery and favoring one leg over the other. I will again have to go under intensive surgery to remove the damaged sections of my left hip joint and replace it. This artificial joint will help reduce pain and improve the function of my overall health and hip. I need to get my left side of the hip replacement as soon as possible. Unfortunately, surgery and therapy will cost around $20,000 an amount i unfortunately can’t cover on my own.
