Donate to Heal Juno, Future K9 Hero

Hi, my name is Jenna Phillips. I'm 16, and I'm a sergeant in the Crescent City Police Explorers. I will be a K9 law enforcement officer one day, and I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to train a K9 for article search. We have gone to multiple fundraisers for different things. We have gone to summer schools and taught children about being safe around dogs. We recently got her first certifications, and she passed with flying colors. One day she will be able to be deployed and help find missing persons. She’s been an amazing partner, and I can’t imagine losing her.

Yesterday night (December 12), my dog Juno slipped out the door and got hit by a car on Washington Blvd. She has a broken leg, a fractured leg, and her pelvis is broken in atleast 5 places. Luckily, we have found a surgeon that can hopefully fix her. It would be a long recovery, but she would be able to run, go on hikes, go to the beach, and be able to continue our journey to becoming my law enforcement partner.
