Donate to Helene: Overcome Hurricane Helene's Impact

Hey y'all, Helene hurt us bad. I'm okay, but still don't have power and have been rendered unemployed. No help from unemployment office, because I didn't make enough to qualify. Go figure.

My house is okay, but I exhausted my savings replacing my car, which was destroyed.

I'm applying for disability on the basis of having had major spinal surgery three years ago, as the result of an injury suffered overseas while working as a defense contractor, but they'll probably turn it down again.

As it stands now, I can't pay my bills, and my homeowners insurance is due.
