On the 30th of December 2024, Mia's mum took Mia into A&E with a sickness bug and stomach pain, which just had this feeling that Mia had to get checked over. Well a few tests and ultrasound later..
Mia's mum was told unexpectedly that her beautiful little girl has a tumour on her kidney, known as wilms' tumor (nephroblastoma). CANCER!
Nothing can ever, ever prepare you for that. Since that day their lives have changed forever. Mia's mum has had to rely on family to help financially support them with all the hospital trips, stays, appointments, the list goes on.
Mia has successfully had her kidney removed, and now has another 6 months of grueling chemotherapy to endure, and uncertain if anymore intervention will be needed treatment wise.
Dear little Mia is so poorly with all this treatment. This poor baby has only just started in life, only being 5! And she has endured more than most of us will ever have to in life. Sweet little Mia deserves nothing but the absolute princess treatment, and my aim is to try and raise as much money as we can for them to hopefully travel to Disneyland Paris for Mia to meet her princess idols, and have beautiful memories. Also, if we can raise more then this will be so appreciated and gratefully received by her mum and family to be able to buy the things they need that is not provided via the NHS. Let's see how much we can raise for her. Even if you only donate £2! That will help tremendously
This is a snippet of what Mia's mum has to say;
Please hug your little ones and cherish every single moment because this has taught me how everything can be taken from you in a matter of a few days. Mia had no symptoms other than a nasty stomach bug, which ultimately saved her life. Please, please, listen to your gut.
Mia is being incredibly brave regardless of the amount of changes she has been put through already I will make it my life's job to give her absolutely everything and more because this life is too short and cruel!
I am BEYOND proud of my girl.
Please pray for my Mia and keep her in your thoughts, I want nothing more than to see my little girl come back to the way she was and to beat this.
I am so proud of my daughter and I want to show everyone how she CAN beat this. Thankyou.
Thankyou ❤️
