Hi, my name is Hayley and I'm fundraising for one of the most beautiful humans I've ever met, my friend Amy and her daughter Isla.

Amy is the type of person who will give you the shirt off her own back, she only sees the good in people and has the most open, kindest heart. She is the type of friend that lends a supportive ear, even if she's drowning herself.. she's the first to come for tea and bring you a handmade gift, even when she has sleepless nights. She's also the single mother of two beautiful girls Isla and Kailani both diagnosed with autism. This year has been particularly hard for this beautiful family, Isla has recently been kicked out of her specialist school and been traumatized by the NDIS. You can follow her story that was posted in The Herald today (18/02/2025). Amy and Isla deserve better. They have been let down by a system meant to help and support families like theirs, but unfortunately for them, their experience has been anything but helpful or supportive. This story is too common, with so many families fighting the same battle.

That's where you amazing people come in. Let's help Amy fight for what is right.

Like any amazing advocate, Amy wants to make a positive change for her community. Her hope is to fight for other families going through the same issues, to hopefully make some changes so all the proceeds of this fundraiser are going towards the cost to fight this broken system and get justice for Isla!
