Donate To Help A Breast Cancer Survivor In Recovery
Donation protected

My name is Emily Willis and and I'm a cancer survior.
Last year, I was diagnosed with cancer the day before my 27th birthday. Over the past year, I've been through 16 rounds of chemo, multiple surgeries, and 4 weeks of radiation. I'm still dealing with lingering side effects of treatment. The frequency of my migraines has increased from the stress. I also developed an incredibly rare eye condition that eroded my corneas. My mental health, anxiety, OCD have gotten worse. I've had multiple surgical complications that require painful, daily treatment.
My treatments and pre-existing health conditions have made it impossible to have gainful employment. I applied for disability but like the majority of applicants my application has been denied on a non-medical technicality.
I really need financial assistance while I find other ways to receive assistance or make an income.
I only made it through this year thanks to the kindness of the people in my life, health professionals, and the wonderful surviors I met along the way. I'm so grateful for them and their generosity.
I don't know how long recovery will take but I know I need to give my body time to heal. I appreciate any donations that will help me with that. Thank you.
