Donate to help Aaliyah Gayles and her family

Dear friends and community members,

 

With permission by the Gayles family, this fundraiser was set up by Sally Blair, the mother of former Spring Valley captain Garrisen Freeman. 

Aaliyah Gayles is a senior point guard at Spring Valley High School, McDonald’s All-American, and USC commit. She is a loving daughter, selfless person, loyal captain and humble basketball player. Aaliyah’s life is basketball, and her dream has always been to pursue a professional career in the game that has defined her.

 

On Saturday night, Aaliyah was shot multiple times after leaving a house party. She was rushed into trauma with over 10 shots to her extremities. She has already undergone extensive surgeries and will have more to come.

 

This account has been established to help Aaliyah and her family in the recovery and rehabilitation process as it’ll undoubtedly be a long journey that includes surgeries, travel, rehabilitation, medical bills, and time away from work.

 

The family is overwhelmed with gratitude for the amount of support this community has shown. The journey to recovery won’t be easy, but this star always finds a way to persevere and will continue to do so. Please consider a donation to support Aaliyah and the Gayles family.
