My daughter, Alyssa was diagnosed with Papillary carcinoma, which is a type of thyroid cancer. She will be getting surgery to remove her thyroid sometime this month. The doctor's appointments, surgery and medications will cost thousands of dollars, even with medical insurance.

Alyssa was born and raised here in Farmington and has given back to the community. She has been a teacher in the Farmington school district for the past 4 years. Next year, she will be starting a new chapter in her life as an English language and cultural teaching assistant in Madrid.
