Hello everyone, my name is Maria Cubias and I have the opportunity to study abroad at the Council for Opportunity in Education Keith Sherin Global Leaders in The Hague, Netherlands. The specific program I will be attending is through Council for Opportunity in Education, COE. This is a 3-week program from June 2024 to July 2024, in which I and other students will be traveling to The Hague in the Netherlands.

Amsterdam and The Hague are two prominent cities in the Netherlands, each with its unique charm and attractions. Canal Ring (Grachtengordel): Amsterdam is famous for its picturesque canal ring, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The canals are lined with historic houses and charming bridges, creating a scenic and romantic atmosphere.
Also, Anne Frank House: A poignant historical site where Anne Frank and her family hid during World War II. The museum provides insight into the life of Anne Frank and the impact of the Holocaust.

The Hague: Binnenhof: The political heart of the Netherlands, Binnenhof is a complex of historic buildings housing the Dutch parliament. The picturesque inner courtyard is surrounded by medieval architecture.
Both Amsterdam and The Hague have rich histories, cultural offerings, and vibrant atmospheres that make them must-visit destinations for those exploring the Netherlands. Whether you're interested in art, and history, or simply enjoying the charming streets and canals, these cities have something to offer for every traveler.

I will soak up the lively scenes of all three cities, I will find inspiration in the variety of looks, colors, traditions, and styles. Amsterdam boasts world-class museums, including the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, offering a rich collection of Dutch art and history. The Anne Frank House provides a poignant historical perspective.

I will learn and enjoy The Hague in the Mauritshuis Museum houses masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age, providing an intimate setting for art enthusiasts. Panorama Mesdag offers a unique visual experience of a 19th-century seaside village.

I am openly accepting donations, anything that you can give is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
