Hello, my name is Angelo. I am raising money to pay medical expenses related to my diagnosis of Lung Cancer.

For weeks I had been experiencing some health issues. I had breathing problems; I was unable to sleep and coughing continuously. I had been under the care of several doctors, trying to determine what was causing my health problems. After a CT scan, a mass was discovered on my left lung, and a biopsy was scheduled for Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

On Monday, October 10, 2022, I could barely breathe and was taken to the emergency room. Later that day, I was transferred to St. Peter’s Hospital's progressive care unit, where the medical team discovered fluid build-up around my heart. On Tuesday, Oct 13, 2022, a procedure was performed to remove one liter of fluid from my heart. The medical team determined this to be the cause of my breathing difficulties.

On Wednesday, Oct 14, 2022, a biopsy determined that I had lung cancer. The stage of lung cancer is unknown at this time. The lung cancer stage will be determined once the fluid abstracted from my heart has been tested, and results are expected no later than Monday, October 17, 2022. A treatment plan will be developed once the test result has confirmed the stage of my cancer.
