Hi, my name is Damien and I really love animals. I am fascinated by them. I got my guinea pigs in 2020 as emotional support animals. They really helped me a lot with my stress.

This is my guinea pig Lapinou. He is always there for me to talk to. If I'm feeling stressed out, he just listens and makes comforting squeaks. In 2020 I was around chickens and pigs and other animals. I thought that it was incredible how smart and loving they were. As a result I stopped eating chicken because I felt bad for them. When I was younger, I never really understood that I was eating animals and I just thought it was wrong when I realized. Either way, I made the change to vegetarianism. After a while I wondered why people wanted to be vegan and not just settle for vegetarian so I dug a little deeper and understood how cruel these industries are. So on the 26th of November 2022 I became vegan. And I do not regret it one bit. I now have embarked on a mission to save as many animals as possible and so I started teaching Rubik's cube solving to raise money for the Humane Society of the United States. I have raised around $600 for the animals from the lessons. The Humane Society help with all kinds of animals, from dogs in pet stores to farmed animals.

Also, when I was younger, I raised money for animals for my birthday instead of presents. I raised about €300.
