Update on Sofia Antonella Lorenzi
Baby Sofia Antonella Lorenzi just completed her 2 months hyperbaric oxygen treatment with Doctor Paul Harch in New Orleans LA last week. Thank God it was a success, Sofia achieved a lot of great progress, she responded to the treatment really well, we are so thankful for Doctor Harch dedication to Sofia and especially his wife Mrs Juliette Lucarini for all the support since we were in the hospital in San Francisco, she was always there for us with a lot encouragement and support. Now we will continue Sofia's treatment in Austin TX for another 2 months at Napa center and at NeuroSolution for intense neuro laser therapy and Physical therapy. I want to thank everyone for all the prayers and support. Sofia is doing great and continues to recover every day. Please keep baby Sofia in your prayers, God bless you all.

Update on Sofia Antonella Lorenzi.

Sofia was discharged from ucsf on april 19th 2023. On April 20 Sofia and her family traveled to New Orleans LA to star a new treatment for 2 months. It's hyperbaric oxygen therapy with Doctor Paul Harch. We really believe in this treatment and we blessed that we were able to travel right away to New Orleans to start the new treatment at Harch Hyperbarics Inc. Please keep our family in your prayer specially Baby Sofia for a full recovery. Thank you all for your donation it's been very helpful since no insurance will cover this treatment.

Dear Friends and Family,

We’re reaching out to let you know that we are starting a GoFundMe to help the Lorenzi family, and we need your help!

You may have heard that the youngest daughter Sofia, a 19-month-old child, was declared dead on February 22, 2023 after falling in the family Jacuzzi. She had been submerged in the cold water for about 15 to 20 minutes. The EMTs and Doctors tried to revive her for over an 90 minutes, and was formally declared gone on February 22nd at 17:47pm. Pablo and Magali held their little one for what they thought was the last goodbye and 18 minutes after she miraculously began to breathe on her own. She was transferred to UCSF where they didn’t give the family much hope. We were told that she was not going to make it and that her life was hanging on by a thread.

An MRI was done days later and doctors feared the worst. Once again Sofia defied the odds and the doctors reported that Sofia would survive. Sofia continues to slowly recover, and she has been hospitalized for almost 40 days. Both parents have been with Sofia from day one, praying and supporting one another. Sofia has five other siblings that are being cared for by Abuelita, Tias and Tios. Doctors expect Sofia will be staying in the hospital for approximately 2 more months.

We are devastated by this situation; if you could find it in your heart to help us so that we can continue to concentrate on her care we would greatly appreciate it.

We all love Sofia. She has a fierce spirit and is fighting her way back. Currently we are looking to transfer Sofia to a clinic in New Orleans Louisiana that has more advanced medical treatments available for our little warrior. We are hoping to tranfer Sofia very soon. Air ambulance cost is $45.000,00 and her care in New Orleans will also be out of pocket expenses.

If you have other ideas, we are happy to hear them as well. Please consider making a donation.

Thank you and Blessings to you and your family.
