Donate to help Bobby Lyons with Cancer Treatments

Hi, my name is Donna Lyons and I am fundraising for my brother, Bobby Lyons, who has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This will be his second battle with cancer. His first diagnosis was in December 2015 with stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the throat. He started treatment in February 2016 at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago. He had to undergo intensive Radiation and Chemo which was successful. However, those treatments cause other problems over the last several years including deterioration of his jaw. And now he's dealing with this second round of cancer. He and his family have had a lot of struggles with insurance approvals and co-insurance payments for his current treatment plan. His treatment plan consists of him getting Chemo several times a week (both oral and injections). He has to miss 2-3 days of work each week which is taking a toll on him financially. He will have to start working on his "day off" to try to make ends meet and that's not even helping. At this rate, he is not able to focus on just getting better and taking care of himself. If you know anything about my brother, it's that he is a hard worker and has always provided for his family. He has only agreed to get treatments this time around to be able to be here for his family, especially his grandbabies. ANY donation amount is so greatly appreciated so he can focus on what's important right now which is trying to beat cancer again. He is not asking for this fundraiser, we are because we want him to focus on himself for once in his life. He's always giving and we would like to be able to give to him this time.
