Hi, my name is Taylor I am making this GoFundMe for my father Brian. In November of 2022, my father found out he had a brain tumor that had been growing for the past six years. He went through with the surgery and the surgeons told him his tumor was the size of an orange and they had removed a size of a plum. After his procedure, the doctors prescribed him steroids (to reduce the swelling in his head) and anti-seizure meds (to keep him from having seizures) and asked he went to radiation. The radiation has taken a very hard toll on him as it does on anyone who has to go through with it. The anti-seizure meds were not effective so he has been in and out of the hospital since his procedure in November of 2022. Last week (the week before Easter) my father was admitted to the hospital again for having another seziure. As he was in the hospital the doctors found a blood clot in both of his legs and in his lungs he will now be on a blood thinner for the next year. The nurses and doctors have now asked him to go to a rehab facility to help him with working on his leg muscles since he has been laying in a bed for the past week and a half. Due to all of the unfortunate things that have come about, my father has been without work for the past five months.
