Update on Briana!  

She is home!! Resting and healing in her own space and comfortable environment.

She is still awaiting lab results with permanent answers to move forward with treatments and care from her doctor and specialists. 

As of right now it’s being diagnosed as lymphedema of the cervical (in the neck) lymph nodes, myositis and viral arthritis. These are subject to change as lab results become available. These all are very impactful autoimmune disorders. 

Briana is in good spirits and very happy to be home!  Reunited with her kids ♥️ she is beyond thankful for the outpouring love, thoughts, prayers, words of encouragement and support shes received! Transitioning from a month long critical hospital stay to in home care has been challenging but manageable. The road to a full recovery is on the horizon! Coping and leaning about the long term effects of the diagnosis has become a priority. Management and knowledge are being learned daily. The adjustment is still very new but she is confident it will only get better from here. She refuses to give up!! 

She is continuing in home care, doctor visits/ follow ups and dietary changes to accommodate her diagnosis’s. She looks forward to regaining her strength, independence and control over her health!! With all that being said, I know she is anxiously awaiting the return back to work, school! And seeing everyone real soon.

With no true answer on work release from her doctors, Briana remains out of work and could use all the love and support possible!
