Friends and Family, here it is. As most of you know, Brother was severely injured at a Colt Starting Clinic. As of today he has been on stall rest for 85 days. He is now being checked every 4 weeks. We are on medication for lingering ulcers as well as pain meds. He has and will have more shockwave therapy by the vet and I continue with the red light therapy and the physical stretching to help to get his back legs to not only be stronger but to reach under him while walking, so he doesn’t half step in the back. I should follow up on his muscle enzymes bloodwork to see if that has finally come into the normal range. ( the last two bloodpanels showed high) Also at some point I will have to have his facial laceration re opened as there must be a splintered bone fragment that is not allowing it to heal correctly. As hard as I’m trying I may not have enough funds. So any help would truly be appreciated.
