Rising From The Rubble

On May 11, 2023, tragedy struck the home of Gordon and Elaine Burrell when a vehicle veered off the road and crashed directly into their house. Thankfully, no one was home during the accident and miraculously, the driver escaped without injury, but their home lay in ruins. Walls crumbled, windows shattered, and the once cozy interior was now a chaotic mess of splintered wood and twisted metal, resulting in the house being condemned. The Burrells are now barred from entering their home due to safety concerns, preventing them from retrieving any personal belongings.
After a protracted legal battle with the insurance company, the Burrells finally reached a settlement. Unfortunately, after accounting for legal fees and the cost of demolishing the condemned house, they find themselves with insufficient funds to rebuild. This home holds immense sentimental value—it was constructed a century ago by Gordon’s grandfather and has witnessed countless family memories. Thus, the "Rising from the Rubble" fundraiser was born. Friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers are coming together with one shared goal – to rebuild the Burrell’s home and restore a sense of normalcy to their shattered lives.
Your support can make a difference. By donating, you can help the Burrell family rebuild their lives. Imagine a new home where they can relive cherished moments, enjoy the company of loved ones, and sit on the porch, exchanging greetings with passing neighbors. Let’s rally together and be a blessing to the Burrells during this challenging time.
Please share this fundraising effort on your social media platforms to spread the word and encourage others to contribute. Together, we can help create a new safe haven for the Burrell family - one they can once again call home.
