Donate to Help Cancer Patients Travel to PA Event

Hi, my name is Tim Sohn, and I'm raising money to help cancer patients and survivors to be able to travel to an event Sept. 30 & Oct. 1 in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, called "Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer In-Person Event."

The goal of the event is to let cancer patients, survivors & supporters know that they are not alone and to encourage them to share their stories - when they are ready to.

This is important to me because I am a cancer patients myself - diagnosed 16 years ago with chronic myeloid leukemia, and I know the financial burden that cancer patients have. BUT I want them to be able to come to Pennsylvania so they can connect with others and build lifelong friendships, be inspired by the speakers, and have the chance to share their stories in a safe space in person.

The funds will be used to cover cancer patients' flights and/or hotel costs.
