Donations to help darling Carlo Medina.

Hi, my name is Kellie and Carlo’s mum, Cindy, has been my best friend for over 23 years. Like everyone who knows this gorgeous family, I felt utterly helpless when I heard of Carlo’s accident.
What happened? On Good Friday 2022, Carlo and his cousin were riding to the local skate park when he was hit by a car at Redland Marina. He was put in an induced coma at the site by attending paramedics and taken to Mater Children’s hospital. Life-saving surgery was performed to stem brain bleeding and reduce the building pressure. Chest injuries have impacted his breathing and scans have shown an enlarged heart. A plate has been put into his leg bone’s compound fracture. He is currently receiving 24/7 care in ICU and is in a critical condition. The full extent of the bruising, bleed and pressure on his brain will not be known until he is woken up next week. Of course prayer coverage is the first thing Carlo and his family needs, but if it’s on your heart to do more, perhaps think about contributing to this fundraiser.
Whilst in the short-term, the seriousness of Carlo’s condition has been recognized with accommodation provided at Ronald McDonald House, looking further into the future there will be massive financial expenses to cover.
Donations will be used to buy fuel and meal cards, cover parking fees, help access any private medical intervention Carlo requires to recover and Americo and Cindy’s loss of income as they spend with him. This family has hearts of gold, they do lots for the community; let’s conversely bless them in their time of need.
