Hello my name is Melvin Canton,

On may 7th around 7pm my mother Carmina Canton and her pet dog were attacked by an unleashed pitbull which left terrible wounds, specially to her left arm she used to shield her face and neck from being bitten, doctors say that tendons and veins essential to arm and finger movement were compromised so she will only recover partially, meaning she may walk out of the hospital with a disability. Several surgeries will be needed to reconnect blood vessels and tendons that were torn and tissue from other parts of her body will be used to fill in the flesh the dog bit away, she will still need post surgery therapies to increase the chances of recovery.

She is also being treated for PTSD due to the severity and savagery with which the dog attacked.

Hola me llamo Melvin Canton,

El 7de mayo mi madre Carmina Canton y su perro mascota fueron victimas de un ataque de un perro de raza pitbull que dejo graves lesiones de mordida en su cuerpo, sobre todo su brazo izquierdo que uso como escudo para evitar que el perro alcanzara su cuello y cara, los médicos indican que hay una alta probabilidad de que no recupere por completo la motricidad en su brazo y dedos, para lo cual será sometida a varias cirugías para reconstruir el tejido nervioso, tendones y músculos afectados con tejido de otras partes de su cuerpo.

Para aumentar el porcentaje de recuperación también serán necesarias terapias físicas post operatorias.

También esta siendo tratada por TEPT debido a la severidad y salvajismo con la que el perro ataco.
