On July 29th, I rescued Salma Catalina, a mother cat, from an alley. To my surprise, she was still nursing. The following day, I returned her to the location where I found her, and with the help of my neighbors, I was able to rescue her six kittens as well. By August 4th, I had brought the entire family into my care.

As a first-time rescuer, I faced several challenges, including flea removal, bathing, and finding a supportive organization. After struggling to find assistance, I connected with "April's Kittens," who introduced me to "CatNap from the Heart." This low-cost clinic has been essential in providing medical care, including boosters, deworming, and flea treatments, for Salma Catalina and her kittens.

Unfortunately, on August 23rd, one of the kittens passed away due to kitten syndrome despite my best efforts. CatNap have been assisting me without charge, and your contributions will support their ongoing efforts to help other cats in need.

Once the kittens reach 2 pounds, they will be ready for adoption through CatNap from the Heart. Additionally, I plan to adopt Salma Catalina through the organization, as I have grown deeply attached to her.
