Update! Christian is progressing well and is remaining in high spirits. He broke a bone in his wrist and will have surgery within the next two weeks. They said Christian would make a functional recovery, but not a full one due to the severity of his injuries. He will be moved shortly to an extended care facility until he can bear his weight. After which, he will be off to rehabilitation. His mother and I are blown away by the community's support and would like to thank you for all everyone has done thus far. THANK YOU ALL!
Hello, My name is Kaitlynn Reynolds; I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of Christian and his family. Christian was hit by a train yesterday. He has endured multiple amputations, with possibly more to come. He has lost his left leg from the knee down, most of his right foot, and various fingers on each hand. On top of medical expenses, the family will need to update some things in their home to accommodate what lies ahead when he comes home. I have become close with Christian's mom, Crystal, at work, and I have known his sister Annissa for years. I would love to help the family In any way possible. I would be willing to meet and deliver things to their residency if you are local. If you would Like to donate gas/food cards or a frozen home-cooked meal they can put in the oven to make life at home less stressful while everyone is transitioning to this new way of life, I can accommodate you! Anything you can donate at this time will be greatly appreciated. They have a long journey to recovery ahead of them. I feel as a community; we can all make the transition easier for them.
You can contact me for other donations at (931)2417813. Please only text, and keep it to a decent hour.
